The Penguin series, currently in development for HBO Max and a spin-off of the movie The Batman, has found the actress for the character of Sofia Falcone.
According to Variety, the creative team of the series has chosen Cristin Milioti (Made for Love, How I Met Your Mother) to play the daughter of Carmine Falcone.
In this series taking place in the universe imagined by Matt Reeves, Sofia Carlone fights with the Penguin, again played by Colin Farrell, to take control of Gotham. No further details on the plot of this new DC project have been released.
The Penguin series was officially ordered in March 2022. It is one of three HBO Max projects currently in progress to expand the universe of The Batman movie. The other series will focus on Arkham Asylum and the Gotham Police Department.
