Season 3 of Heartstopper, which will debut on Netflix in October 2024, will feature a number of new actors. The streaming platform revealed that the series, adapted from Alice Oseman‘s work, will welcome Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton, Broadchurch), Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter, Conviction) and Eddie Marsan (The Power, Ray Donovan) in its new salvo of episodes. Jonathan Bailey‘s presence in Heartstopper Season 3 was teased a few weeks ago via Instagram posts.
Hayley Atwell will play Diane Nelson, Nick’s (Kit Connor) aunt. She takes him on a summer vacation to Menorca and will be called upon to advise the young man on his relationship with Charlie (Joe Locke). Eddie Marsan will play Geoff, Charlie’s therapist, while Jonathan Bailey will play Jack Maddox, an Instagram celebrity with a crush on Charlie.
In a statement, series creator and writer Alice Oseman said she was “incredibly excited to be welcoming three new cast members to the Heartstopper family. […] It was an absolute joy to see Hayley, Eddie, and Jonathan’s talent alongside our existing cast, and I can’t wait for the Heartstopper fans to meet these new characters”.
