'World Maker': the app to create your own manga

Available in beta version from September 22, the “World Maker” application allows any user to create his own manga for free. A great opportunity for those who are unsure of how to get started or who need guidance in their work.

Have you always dreamed of drawing your own manga? Maybe “World Maker” will help you achieve that. In collaboration with Web Shonen Jump+, the Japanese publisher Shueisha has just launched a new application: “World Maker”. Behind this rather general title, a free service is hidden, allowing anyone to create a manga, without even knowing how to draw! All you need is a smartphone and a good amount of imagination to get started.

A guided creation

You will need a plot that holds up, but the application will help you create the form: background, characters, onomatopoeia, layout, the creation is done in several steps.

The user is guided all along by precise instructions and it’s possible in a few clicks to modify the whole content. The beta version will be available to everyone from September 22. Just a little more patience!
