The Lincoln Lawyer series (an adaptation of Michael Connelly‘s novels) was a success on Netflix at its launch and will have a new cast member for its second season.
According to information from Deadline, the production has chosen to cast Lana Parrilla in a recurring role. The actress, best known for her work on Once Upon A Time and a regular at conventions, will play Lisa Trammell. Lisa is a beloved chef who fights for the good of her community and tries to keep her restaurant afloat as a predatory real estate developer threatens the neighborhood where it is located.
The 10-episode second season will be based on the fourth book of the adventures of Mickey Haller, played in the Netflix series by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
For those unfamiliar with this world, the series follows Mickey Haller, an idealistic Los Angeles lawyer who runs his business from the backseat of his Lincoln. Helping him are his ex-wives, Maggie (Neve Campbell) and Lorna (Becki Newton), his driver (Jazz Raycole) and Lorna’s new fiancé, Cisco (Angus Sampson).
