The Boys: Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the cast of season 4

Eric Kripke and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who previously worked together on Supernatural, will reunite on the sets of season 4 of The Boys.

According to the information of the American media, Jeffrey Dean Morgan will appear in a recurring role in the fourth season of the adaptation of the comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. No details have yet been revealed about the character he will play.

Eric Kripke had teased the possible arrival of the actor to E! News last June: “Jeffrey Morgan is a superfan of the show. […] We’re trying to figure out something for season four. Nothing finalised yet, but he and I are chatting and e-mailing and seeing it we can make it work with his busy schedule.” So a solution has been found and another member of Supernatural, after Jensen Ackles in season 3, is joining the cast of The Boys.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a familiar face on the small screen. In addition to his role as John Winchester in Supernatural, the actor is known for having played Denny Duquette in Grey’s Anatomy, Negan in The Walking Dead, JD Richter in Extant or Jason Crouse in The Good Wife. He will soon star in the series Isle of the Dead, a spin-off of The Walking Dead focused on the characters of Negan and Maggie (Lauren Cohan).
