A few hours after Netflix released its trailer for The Umbrella Academy, Amazon Prime Video revealed the trailer for one of its most highly-anticipated superhero series: The Boys.
The Boys, an adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson‘s comic books, won over audiences in 2019 with its unique mix of humor, action and hemoglobin. A combination that will still be present during Season 2, as the trailer reveals (see below).
In the new episodes, Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie (Jack Quaid), Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso) will be hunted down all over the United States by the superhero group The Seven who will be welcoming a new recruit: Stormfront (Aya Cash). Wanted dead or alive, our anti-heroes will have to rely on Butcher’s plan (he swears he’ s got a great one) to survive.
The first three episodes of Season 2 will be available on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, September 4, 2020. From then on, a new episode will be available every Friday. Season 2 finale will air on October 9, 2020.
