The Boys will welcome new cast members for its third season. In addition to Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, the Amazon series will be able to count on Sean Patrick Flanery (Dexter), Miles Gaston Villanueva (Nancy Drew), Nick Wechsler (Revenge) and Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead).
According to EW, the first three named will play superheroes created specifically for the series. Sean Patrick Flanery will be Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler will play Blue Hawk and Miles Gaston Villanueva will play Supersonic. The latter could be a former boyfriend of Starlight (Erin Moriarty) always according to the American media.
Laurie Holden, meanwhile, will play Crimson Countess, a member of the Payback group. Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) is the leader of this group.
Currently being filmed, season 3 of The Boys has no official air date yet.
