Call Your Mother – ABC
Sherri Shepherd (Trial & Error) will appear as a recurring role in the Call Your Mother series. Elle rejoint Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer), Rachel Sennott, Joey Bragg (Liv and Maddie), Patrick Brammall (No Activity), Emma Caymares (Fosse/Verdon) et Austin Crute (Trinkets). She will play Sharon, Jean’s best friend who will make sure her friend doesn’t forget where she came from after moving to Los Angeles. (Source)

Madison Thompson goes from the series Ozark to the soap opera The Young and the Restless. She will play Jordan, a socialite young woman who proves that appearances are not to be trusted. She will make her first appearance at the end of October. (Source)

Riverdale – The CW
A new face arrives in Riverdale, that of Erinn Westbrook. The actress, currently a recurring role in the series The Resident, has been chosen to play Tabitha Tate, the ambitious granddaughter of Pop Tate who comes to Riverdale to take over the Pop’s Chock’Lit Shoppe in the hope of franchising it. NCIS: New Orleans – CBS
Chelsea Field will resume her role as Rita Devereaux more intensively in NCIS: New Orleans. Indeed, the actress has just been regularly scheduled to play the role in season 7 so that the romance between Rita and (Scott Bakula) Dwayne can be developed. (Source)

The animated series Army Of The Dead: Lost Vegas, a spin-off of Zack Snyder‘s upcoming movie, adds 11 names to its voice casting : Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Christian Slater (Mr. Robot), Harry Lennix (The Blacklist), Ross Butler (13 Reasons Why), Anya Chalotra (The Witcher), Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical), Yetide Badaki (American Gods), Christina Wren (Hicksters), Monica Barbaro (The Good Cop), Jena Malone (Too Old to Die Young) and Nolan North (Rick & Morty). Featured in 19 episodes of All American in the first two seasons,, Chelsea Tavares is promoted for Season 3. She will now be a regular in the CW drama and will resume her role as Patience. (Source)

Billions, renewed for a season 6, will have more confidence in Corey Stoll. He becomes regular and will once again play Mike Prince, a gifted businessman who is a threat to Axe. (Source)

Adam Tsekhman continues the Legends of Tomorrow adventure and is being promoted to regular in season 6, which will include a chance to talk about his past which is “stranger than you might imagine”. (Source)

Apple TV+ has unveiled the names that will make up the cast of its musical comedy project. The series will follow a couple arriving in the magical town of Schmigadoon where everyone acts as if they were in a musical from the 1940s. They then discover that they can’t leave until they find “true love”. The cast will consist of Keegan-Michael Key (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), Alan Cumming (Instinct), Fred Armisen (Portlandia), Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies), Aaron Tveit (BrainDead), Dove Cameron (Liv and Maddie), Ariana DeBose (Hamilton) Jaime Camil (Jane the Virgin), Jane Krakowski (Dickinson) and Ann Harada (Smash).
