According to Deadline, Matt Ryan will join the Waverider’s team on the CW before going back to playing Constantine more regularly. During season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow, this anti-hero and occultism enthusiast payed the time travelers a few visits and even played a part in this season’s last episode.
If the show is renewed for a 4th season, Matt’s promotion as a regular character will thrill the fans of Constantine who still have a hard time accepting that the Constantine show was cancelled.
We’ll have to wait until the Upfronts to know if Legends of Tomorrow will be back or not during 2018-2019. During this time period, the CW will also have to air the Charmed and Roswell reboots, among other things.
