A few weeks after the announcement of Sydney Chandler in the lead role, the Alien series developed by FX is adding new names to its cast.
According to Deadline, Alex Lawther, known for his roles in Andor and The End of the F***ing World, will play CJ, a soldier who is also the male lead. Samuel Blenkin, recently seen in Black Mirror and The Witcher, will play a character named Boy Kavalier.
The US media is reporting that two more names have been added to the cast of Noah Hawley‘s Alien series. Essie Davies, who appeared in The White Princess and Miss Fisher Investigation, will play Dame Silvia, while Adarsh Gourav will play a character named Slightly. The Indian-born actor is best known for his roles in Hostel Daze and Extrapolations.
As a reminder, the Alien series will take place on Earth at the end of the 21st century, before the events of the movies. Filming has just begun in Thailand with actors who are not members of the SAG-AFTRA union, which is currently on strike.
