Three new names in the cast of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Olivia Rodrigo in recurring role

The cast of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series welcomes three new members for its third season.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Ben Stillwell (Murder in the First), Aria Brooks (Better Nate Than Ever) and Liamani Segura will appear as recurring characters in the new batch of episodes. For Season 3, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is leaving East High behind and heading to a summer camp in California where they will revisit Frozen.

Ben Stillwell will play Channing, a cameraman in charge of filming a documentary about the production of the Frozen show while Aria Brooks and Liamani Segura will play Alex and Emmy, respectively, students attending the camp.

Olivia Rodrigo as recurring role

These three new faces will not be the only ones to make their debut in the series as the production has previously announced Saylor Bell, Adrian Lyles, Corbin Bleu, Meg Donnelly and Jason Earles for season 3.

Regarding the original cast, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Julia Lester, Dara Renee and Frankie Rodriguez will return as regulars while Kate Reinders, Olivia Rose Keegan and Olivia Rodrigo will have recurring roles. The reduced presence of Olivia Rose Keegan can be explained by the fact that she has just been chosen to join the cast of Gotham Knights. Olivia Rodrigo, on the other hand, will soon be doing a world tour.
