Tom Ellis is God in the trailer for the Exploding Kittens animated series.

The animated series Exploding Kittens, based on the card game of the same name, has been in development for many months and was unveiled with a wicked trailer at Netflix’s Geeked Week 2023.

Directed by Mike Judge (King of the Hill, Beavis and Butt-Head), Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation) and Dustin Davis (Praise Petey), the series will follow the eternal conflict between Heaven and Hell, which reaches epic proportions when God (Tom Ellis) and the Devil (Sasheer Zamata) are sent to Earth in the form of plump kittens.

Exploding Kittens is due to hit Netflix in 2024 and promises to be a lot of fun, as evidenced by the trailer below, which focuses primarily on the character voiced by Tom Ellis.
