Star Trek, The Flash and Justice League (Animated Series) Guests Announced for Fairfax Comic Con

On August 26 and 27, 2023, the Fairfax Comic Con will take place at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia (USA). If you still have to wait a few months to attend the event, the organizer has started to announce the guests who will be attending the convention. If you like Star Trek, The Flash or Justice League (Animated Series) you should be happy.

3 voice actors from Justice League

Indeed, the convention will host a mini Justice League (Animated Series) reunion with already 3 guests announced : Maria Canals-Barrera (Hawkgirl), Susan Eisenberg (Diana Prince / Wonder Woman) and George Newbern (Clark Kent/Superman).

In addition to their work as voice actors, you may know Maria Canals-Barrera from her roles in Wizards of Waverly Place (Theresa Russo), Camp Rock (Connie Torres) or Cristela (Daniela). As for George Newbern, he is best known for his roles as Charlie on Scandal, Bryan MacKenzie on Father of the Bride (1, 2 and 3) and Danny (the Yeti) on Friends.

Jonathan Frakes and John Wesley Shipp announced

Jonathan Frakes, well known and loved by Star Trek fans, will be attending the American event on August 26 and 27. In addition to playing Commander William Riker in the classic series Star Trek: The Next Generation and directing several films and episodes of Star Trek, he was the host of Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction and voiced David Xanatos in Disney’s Gargoyles.

Another iconic guest will be attending the Fairfax Comic Con: John Wesley Shipp aka Barry Allen / The Flash in the 1990 series. He also plays Barry Allen of Earth-90, the father of Barry Allen and Jay Garrick, in the current series The Flash on the CW. In a completely different role, you may also know him from Dawson’s Creek, where he played Mitch Leery, Dawson’s father.

How to buy tickets to Fairfax Comic Con?

To attend the event, passes are already available on the ticketing site. You can choose from 4 passes : VIP Weekend pass (Includes Early Entry Both Days, VIP Badge, Exclusive Show Print, Fast Lane for Celebrities, and Advanced Seating for Panels – $75.00 + $5.00 fee), Weekend pass ($31.25 + $3.00 fee), Satuday pass ($22.50 + $2.50 fee) and Sunday pass ($19.00 + $1.80 fee). For now, only the passes are available on the ticketing. Prices for photoshoots and autographs will be announced closer to the event.
