As we announced it a few weeks ago, the 4th season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will be the occasion to see some familiar faces from the High School Musical saga. And you don’t have to wait for the episodes to air to find out who will be in the show.
Six members of the original cast there
In a press release on September 23, Disney+ confirmed that Corbin Bleu (Chad Danforth), Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie), Lucas Grabeel (Ryan Evans), Bart Johnson (Coach Bolton), Alyson Reed (Ms. Darbus) and Kaycee Stroh (Martha Cox) will be appearing on the show.
In Season 4 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, they will play themselves as they return to East High.
Will other actors from the original saga be included? At the moment it doesn’t seem to be the case but Disney+ might have some surprises in store for us. In the meantime, it will be possible to attend a High School Musical reunion on November 12 and 13, 2022 during the Back to The Musical World 2 convention. Expected at this event: Kenny Ortega, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucas Grabeel, Bart Johnson and Drew Seeley.
Newcomers for season 4
In addition to the cast of High School Musical, the fourth season of the series created by Tim Federle will welcome new actors.
Disney+ has announced Kylie Cantrall (Gabby Duran & The Unsittables) as Dani, a social network star, Matthew Sato (Saved by the Bell) as Mack, a sitcom actor, Caitlin Reilly (Loot) as Quinn, an independent film director and Vasthy Mompoint (Winx Club) as Krystal, a choreographer.
All of them will appear in recurring roles along with Joshua Bassett (Ricky), Sofia Wylie (Gina), Dara Renee (Kourtney), Julia Lester (Ashlyn), Frankie Rodriguez (Carlos) and Kate Reinders (Miss Jenn).
