Season 2 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in May on Disney+.

Do you miss Nini (Olivia Rodrigo), Ricky (Joshua Bassett), Gina (Sofia Wylie), E.J. (Matt Cornett), Big Red (Larry Saperstein), Ashlyn (Julia Lester), Kourtney (Dara Renée), Carlos (Frankie A. Rodriguez) and Seb (Joe Serafini)? Then we have good news for you: season 2 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is coming to Disney+ on May 14, 2021.

These new episodes will follow the East High School theater troupe as they prepare for their new show. They must compete against rival North High School in order to win a prestigious theater competition. A competition that will test the loyalty of our favorite Wildcats.

This new season, still directed by Tim Federle, will also feature two new solo songs written by Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett.

The cast will include familiar faces from the first season (Kate Reinders, Mark St. Cyr) as well as newcomers including Derek Hough (Dancing with the Stars), Olivia Rose Keegan (Days of Our Lives), Roman Banks, Andrew Barth Feldman (Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical) and Asher Angel (Andi).
