The Santa Clauses series, the sequel to the eponymous film trilogy, will feature another familiar face. After Tim Allen in the role of Santa Claus, Disney+ has convinced Elizabeth Mitchell to come back as Mrs. Claus.
Her character, Carol, was introduced in the second film of the saga. In this movie by Michael Lembeck, Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) had to go search for love and had to get married in order not to lose his job as Santa Claus. He finally fell for Carol, the principal of his son’s school. Elizabeth Mitchell also played Carol/Mrs. Claus in the last movie of the trilogy.
In the Disney+ series, Scott Calvin is about to turn 65 and realizes that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose his grip on his duties, and more importantly, he has a family that might appreciate having a normal life, including his two children who have grown up at the Pole. So Scott begins the search for a replacement while preparing his family for a new adventure in south of the Pole.
