After 8 years of loyal service to Central City, Barry Allen and his friends are about to return for a final season. With 13 episodes, Season 9 of The Flash will air on February 8, 2023 on The CW.
According to Deadline, Season 9 will take place one week after the events of Season 8 have ended. In this new salvo of episodes, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) have reunited and are closer than ever, but they will face new enemies. With the help of his team, Barry will do everything he can to foil their plans and save Central City one last time.

A quick reminder: in the final moments of season 8, Barry and Team Flash managed to defeat Reverse Flash while Iris was cured of her temporal illness.
The cast of season 9 will also include Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow), Danielle Nicolet (Cecile Horton), Brandon McKnight (Chester P.Runk), Kayla Compton (Allegra Garcia) and Jon Cor (Mark Blaine).
