Will the Winchester family be back on the small screen soon? It’s a possibility to consider since the American channel The CW has officially ordered a pilot episode for the series The Winchesters. A project led by Jensen Ackles (the character of Dean in Supernatural) and in development for several months.
This new series will be a prequel to Supernatural and will revisit the epic and untold love story between John and Mary Winchester and how they risked everything to save their love and the world. A romance that will be narrated by Dean (Jensen Ackles).
Robbie Thompson, producer of Supernatural, is in charge of the script of the pilot of the series The Winchesters. He will also be an executive producer alongside Jensen and Danneel Ackles.
We don’t know yet if Matt Cohen and Amy Gumenick, who played the young versions of John and Mary Winchester in Supernatural, will come back for this new adventure. Answer in the next months.
