After getting the green light for the production of a pilot episode, the team of The Winchesters series has started to reveal the names that will form the cast of this Supernatural prequel.
Deadline reports that Nida Khurshid (Adversity) and Jojo Fleites have been cast as regulars. Nida Khurshid will play Latika Desai, a young hunter-in-training who is fiercely intelligent and braver than she thinks. Meanwhile, Jojo Fleites will play Carlos Cervantez, an easygoing and confident young man who brings a touch of positivity to the demon-hunting team when they take on more serious threats.
The Winchesters, centered on young John and Mary Winchester (the actors who will play them has yet to be revealed), is being created by Robbie Thompson, Jensen Ackles and Danneel Ackles. Jensen Ackles will also contribute as a narrator. The direction of the pilot episode has been entrusted to Glen Winter (Smallville, Supergirl).
