The series Sagrada Familia, also known as Holy Family, has been a hit on Netflix since its launch.
Available since October 14 on the streaming platform, the new creation of Manolo Caro (La casa de las flores) has directly slipped into the top 10 of non-English series. A top that the series still occupies for its second week of release, which undoubtedly explains the decision of Netflix to renew the series for a second season.
Indeed, it is through a video posted on the YouTube channel of Netflix España that the news was made official. An announcement that will delight Manolo Caro who had thought the story of the Holy Family series for two seasons.
The series, which stars Alba Flores (Money Heist), Alvaro Rico (Elite) and Najwa Nimri (Money Heist) follows a family with a heavy secret that decides to rebuild their lives in Madrid. But soon, this project is challenged by new acquaintances.
The 8-episode first season of the Holy Family series also includes in its cast Álex Garcia (The Bride), Carla Campra (Everybody Knows), Iván Pellicer (Fugitiva), Macarena Gómez, Laura Laprida, José Emilio Vera, Pol Hermoso and Ella Kweku.
