Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez will continue to lead the investigation on Hulu. Indeed, the series Only Murders In The Building has been officially renewed for a second season after the comedy got the best audience of a Hulu original creation during its launch.
Following the renewal, Craig Erwich, president of ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals said: “Only Murders in the Building reflects the kind of creative excellence that is the hallmark of Hulu Originals. Steve (Martin), John (Hoffman) and Dan (Fogelman) have created a uniquely captivating and entertaining series. The audience’s response to the delightful blend of mystery, humor and emotion in the show has been overwhelming and we can’t wait to follow this unlikely trio on their next adventure.”
For those unfamiliar with the series, Only Murders In The Building follows three strangers who share an obsession with crime and suddenly find themselves involved in one. While recording their own podcast to document the case, the three buddies discover many secrets about their building and realize that a killer may be living among them.
In the cast of the first season was also Aaron Dominguez (Two sides), Vanessa Aspillaga (Flesh and Bone), Ryan Broussard (Hot Date), Michael Cyril Creighton (Dash & Lily), Jeena Yi and Olivia Reis.
