The Melrose Place mansion will soon welcome new residents, but also some familiar faces to fans of the original series. According to Deadline, CBS Studios is currently working on a Melrose Place revival and will be able to count on three iconic actresses from the series: Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton.

The actresses, who will also be executive producers, will reprise their roles as Amanda Woodward, Jo Reynolds and Sydney Andrews as the residents of Melrose Place gather to honor the memory of a friend who has died suddenly. According to U.S. media, it doesn’t take long for the reunion to unearth old traumas, rekindle old romances and resentments, and reveal new secrets.

This new Melrose Place series will be written by Lauren Gussis, known for her work on Dexter and for creating the series Insatiable. At the time of writing, no network or streaming platform has acquired the rights to Melrose Place.
