iCarly, which was successful on Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2012, is about to return to the small screen. According to TVLine, Paramount+, currently known as CBS All Access, has decided to order a revival. And there is more good news, the American channel announces that three members of the original cast will be back: Miranda Cosgrove (Carly), Jerry Trainor (Spencer) and Nathan Kress (Freddie).
As a reminder, the iCarly TV series, created by Dan Schneider, followed Carly Shay, a teenage girl whose life changed when Freddie, one of her friends, posted a video of her and her best friend on the Internet. With the success of the video, the three teenagers decided to launch their own show: iCarly.
Jay Kogen (School of Rock, Frasier) and Ali Schouten (Young & Hungry, Merry Happy Whatever) will lead the revival. They will also act as producers and co-showrunners.
