In 2020, White Collar creator Jeff Eastin teased a possible return of the series, much to the delight of the show’s fans. Three years later, talks are still underway for a revival of the show starring Tim DeKay and Matt Bomer, as the latter confirmed to TVLine.

Referring to “very legitimate talk,” the actor who played Neal Caffrey points out that a lot of things have to fall into place before the revival can see the light of day. Matt Bomer adds that the project can’t move forward without honoring Willie Garson, who died in 2021, and his character Mozzie, who was beloved by fans and played an important role in White Collar. The actor said: “I felt that what Jeff Eastin presented to Tim and I honors what he contributed to the show and honors him as a person. There’s no way I would ever be involved with it again if it didn’t do so. “So I think it’s a way for him to, in some ways, still be a part of the show.”

While there is still a lot of ground to cover before a potential White Collar return, fans can look forward to a pleasant surprise in 2024 to celebrate 10 years since the series ended. In the meantime, all six seasons are available to watch on Hulu or Freevee in the US.
