It’s during the Empire Virtual Hangout 7 of Empire Conventions, that Miranda Rae Mayo confirmed the good news: “I will be back soon. There’s a little break […] but don’t worry, she (Stella) is coming back”. Later in the panel, Miranda Rae Mayo clarified that she is absent for “not more than 5 episodes”.
The actress elaborates by saying that she would find it sad if Stella left this way and also admits to wondering about the reaction of the fans when Stella makes her return: “Are fans going to be mad she was gone for too long? Are they just going to be so happy to see her?” She concludes by saying that as an actor it’s going to be interesting for her to see and hear fans reactions.
