Just a few months after the end of The Resident, Manish Dayal is set to return to the small screen. According to Deadline, the actor has been cast as one of the new characters in the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
According to the American media, the actor will play Ash, a Boston engineer who moved back to his family home in Maine after the apocalypse began. Ash lives by a strict schedule that revolves around his daily flights in a single-engine plane and mysterious excursions into his garden greenhouse.
Season 2 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which is expected to air on AMC in 2024, is currently filming and will focus on the character of Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). Manish Dayal is set to appear on a recurring basis in the episodes of the new season.
