All fans were hoping for it, and AMC didn’t disappoint. The American network unveiled the official trailer for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon during The Walking Dead panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2023.
The spin-off, centered on the character played by Norman Reedus, has been heavily promoted in recent weeks and now (finally) gets a proper trailer. While the video begins with images from previous teasers, we soon get to see some never-before-seen footage.
Set in France, the series will follow Daryl Dixon as he struggles to understand how he got here. It’s a question that Sister Isabelle, played by Clémence Poésy, is also asking herself. Entrusted with a mission by the latter, Daryl will have to travel across France to bring Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) to safety, the young man who has to enable the renewal of humanity.
This new spin-off of The Walking Dead is expected to premiere on AMC/AMC+ on September 10, 2023. The cast includes Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard and Romain Levi.
