Alien: Kit Young announced in the cast of the series

While the fate of Shadow and Bone is still uncertain, Kit Young, who plays Jesper in the adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s work, has just found a new role on the small screen.

According to Deadline, the actor has been chosen to join the Alien series, which will be broadcast on the American channel FX. The American media reports that Kit Young will play a character named Tootles.

Created by Noah Hawley, the Alien series is a prequel to the film saga of the same name and will take place on Earth at the end of the 21st century. Starring Sydney Chandler (Skam Austin, Pistol), the series also features Alex Lawther (Andor, The End of the F***ing World), Samuel Blenkin (The Witcher, Black Mirror), Essie Davis (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Game of Thrones) and Adarsh Gourav (Hostel Daze, Extrapolations).

After facing many dangers in Ketterdam and the Kingdom of Ravka, Kit Young will face a new threat on the small screen. When does it start? No release date has been announced yet, as production on the Alien franchise has just been halted due to the current Hollywood strike.
