The announcement was made by the American magazine People: Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, who played Thelma Dickinson and Louise Sawyer in the film Thelma & Louise, will reunite for a weekend at 90s Con.
This event, organized by That’s 4 Entertainment, will take place from 15 to 17 March 2024 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut (USA), and will be the scene of a reunion between these two Oscar-winning international stars. They’ll both be present on Saturday and Sunday of the convention, doing solo photos, duo photos together, autographs and a panel.
While activities with Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon are not yet on sale, passes are available on the official ticketing website.
In addition to their roles in Thelma & Louise, the two actresses have played a wide range of characters in film and television. These include The Accidental Tourist, A League of Their Own, Hero, Commander in Chief and Grey’s Anatomy for Geena Davis, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Atlantic City, Bull Durham, The Client, Dead Man Walking, Enchanted, Feud and Ray Donovan for Susan Sarandon.
The two actresses join Alyssa Milano, who was previously announced as a convention guest. So there’ll be a little bit of Thelma & Louise and Charmed at 90s con 2024… As we await further guest announcements. Of course, we’ll be sure to share them with you.
