More than 40 years after the release of the first Alien movie, the famous xenomorph continues to haunt movie theaters. This will be the case again in the coming months with the feature film directed by Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe) and produced by Scott Free Productions, the company of Ridley Scott, director of the first opus as well as Prometheus and Alien: Covenant.
While plot details are being kept under wraps, The Hollywood Reporter tells us that this new Alien movie will focus on young people who must survive against the Xenomorph on a remote colony. The casting will be led by Cailee Spaeny (The First Lady), whose role is comparable to the one played by Sigourney Weaver in the first opus, according to the American media.
The cast of this new Alien movie, whose official title has not yet been revealed, will also include Isabela Merced (Rosaline), Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone), David Jonsson (Industry), Spike Fearn (Tell Me Everything) and Aileen Wu. Their roles have not yet been formalized.
