Milo Ventimiglia will not stay away from the small screen for long. While the end of This Is Us had not yet been broadcast, the actor had been chosen to join the cast of the pilot of the series The Company You Keep. An episode that has pleased ABC since the American network has officially ordered a season of this adaptation of the Korean drama My Fellow Citizen.
In the American version, directed by Julia Cohen (A Million Little Things) and Phil Klemmer (DC: Legends of Tomorrow), we follow Charlie (Milo Ventimiglia), a con man, and Emma (Catherine Haena Kim), a secret CIA agent, who after a night of passion fall in love. As Charlie expands the “family business” so that he can get away with it, Emma tracks down a criminal connected to Charlie’s family – forcing them to confront the lies they’ve told each other so they can save themselves and their families from catastrophic consequences.
Expected to air in 2023 on ABC, The Company You Keep also stars William Fichtner (Mom), Tim Chiou (SEAL Team), Freda Foh Shen (Everwood), James Saito (Dash & Lily), Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break), Felisha Terrell (Tell Me a Story) and Polly Draper (First Kill).
