Tom Holland, already starring in the movie Cherry for Apple TV+, will continue his collaboration with the Apple brand’s streaming platform. He will star in the first season of The Crowded Room, an anthology series that explores the true and inspiring stories of those who have struggled and learned to live with mental illness.
Composed of 10 episodes, the first season will follow Billy Milligan (Tom Holland), the first person to be acquitted of a crime due to multiple personality disorder, now known as dissociative identity disorder.
The series, based on the biography The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes, will be directed by Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind, I,Robot). An air date has not yet been announced.
