Teen Wolf: a movie in preparation for 2022, the reactions of the cast

Good news for fans of Teen Wolf, the MTV series that ended in 2017 after 6 years: on Friday, September 24, 2021, 10 years after the launch of the series, the official account of the latter announced on Twitter the upcoming release of a Teen Wolf movie. Scheduled for 2022 on Paramount+, it will be directed by Jeff Davis, creator of the series. This announcement is followed by a teasing video featuring the theme song of the series, which brings back memories.

A cast delighted with this announcement

The cast as well as the creator of the series reacted to this information that made the effect of a bomb among fans of Teen Wolf. Jeff Davis shared the video announcing the movie on his Instagram account with the caption: “Here it comes…#teenwolf the Movie”. Tyler Posey, the actor who plays the irreplaceable Scott McCall, posted the video on his Instagram account and captioned it “Sup”. As for Dylan O’Brien, the actor who played Stiles Stilinski, has not yet reacted. Undoubtedly, his reaction is very expected by fans.

The reactions from the cast don’t stop there. Indeed, on Instagram, Dylan Sprayberry, who played Liam Dunbar, posted lots of smiley faces as a caption to the video: 🐺🌚💛🌚🐺. The reactions of the cast are still numerous since Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Melissa Ponzio, Khylin Rambo and Ian Bohen have also posted on their social networks.

Little information about the plot and the cast

The website Variety reveals a rather vague synopsis of the film. The city of Beacon Hills, will see a new threat coming. To face this new threat, a leader like Scott McCall will have to gather new and old allies such as werewolves, Banshees and Hellhounds to overcome this threat that looks more terrifying, powerful and dangerous than ever.

As for the casting, nothing has been confirmed yet.

The movie is highly anticipated by the fans, but they will have to wait until 2022.
