News on the cast of the Teen Wolf movie

The movie Teen Wolf, directed and written by Jeff Davis, which should begin shooting in March, will have a part of its original cast.

According to Deadline, Tyler Posey will take back his role of Scott McCall and will be joined by Holland Roden (Lydia Martin), Crystal Reed (Allison Argent), Shelley Hennig (Malia Tate), Colton Haynes (Jackson Whittemore), Orny Adams (Bobby Finstock), Linden Ashby (Noah Stilinski), JR Bourne (Chris Argent), Seth Gilliam (Alan Deaton), Ryan Kelley (Jordan Parrish), Melissa Ponzio (Melissa McCall) and Dylan Sprayberry (Liam Dunbar).

The big absentees of this list are Dylan O’Brien (Stiles Stilinski) and Arden Cho (Kira Yukimura) who will probably not be back for the movie. The latter reportedly refused to appear in the film because of a salary much lower than her co-stars.

As for Tyler Hoechlin (Derek Hale), the situation is a bit unclear and it’s not sure if he will be part of this new adventure. Paramount+ adds that other names could be added to the cast of Jeff Davis‘ movie.

Regarding the synopsis of the film, Variety says that the town of Beacon Hills will see a new threat coming to it. A threat that could be the most terrifying, powerful and dangerous the town has ever seen. To face it, Scott McCall, who is still an alpha, will have to gather his friends and allies (werewolves, Banshees and Hellhounds).
