Is this a reference to one of horror’s iconic sagas, or is it simply a happy coincidence? Whichever answer you choose, one thing is certain: Season 2 of Shining Vale will be available on Starz beginning Friday, October 13, 2023.
In this second season, which picks up 4 months after the events of the Season 1 finale, Pat (Courteney Cox) is released earlier than expected from the psychiatric hospital where she has been confined. Returning home determined to rebuild her family life, Pat finds that her children, Gaynor (Gus Birney) and Jake (Dylan Gage), no longer need her, and her husband, Terry (Greg Kinnear), no longer remembers her. To make matters worse, her new neighbor, Ruth, resembles Rosemary (Mira Sorvino), the demon who turned her life upside down, and the house where the Phelps family lives continues to reveal its dark secrets.
Season 2 of Shining Vale will consist of 8 episodes and will also feature Merrin Dungey, Judith Light, Allison Tolman and Sherilyn Fenn.
