Outlander will soon be back on Starz. Diana Gabaldon, the author of the best-selling novels on which the series is based, revealed this at an event held for the launch of Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, the ninth book in the Outlander saga.

So, fans of the series will see the return of the Fraser clan from March 6, 2022 on the American channel.

According to the official synopsis, this new season of Outlander “sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America. Establishing a home in the New World is by no means an easy task, particularly in the wild backcountry of North Carolina — and perhaps most significantly — during a period of dramatic political upheaval. The Frasers strive to maintain peace and flourish within a society which, as Claire knows all too well, is unwittingly marching towards Revolution. Against this backdrop, which heralds the birth of the new American nation, Claire and Jamie have built a home together at Fraser’s Ridge.”

If Outlander fans still have to be patient before discovering these new episodes, they will be able to celebrate the launch of the new season in the best way with the cast of the series. Indeed, Wevents Production will organize on March 5 and 6, 2022 the 4th edition of its Outlander convention with several actors and actresses of the series. So far, Duncan Lacroix (Murtagh Fraser), Richard Rankin (Roger), Sophie Skelton (Brianna), Steven Cree (Ian Murray) and Tim Downie (Governor Tryon) are announced.
