AMC has made official the cancellation of the series NOS4A2, adapted from the eponymous novel by Joe Hill. In a press release, the american channel thanks “Jami O’Brien, Joe Hill and the entire cast and crew for two seasons of inspired, terrifying and thoroughly captivating and age-defying television”. AMC also greeted the fans who took a seat in the Wraith and took a tour with the NOS4A2 series.
In a series of tweets, Jami O’Brien, creator and producer of the series, said: “CONGRATULATIONS to every single member of our phenomenal team on two seasons of weird and wonderful TV. I will miss seeing everyone back in Little Rhody this year, but I’m awfully proud of all we’ve done together. THANK YOU to Joe Hill for all you generosity, imagination, and support and for trusting us with Vic and Charlie, Maggie, Bing, Linda, Chris, Lou, Tabitha, Wayne, Millie, and all your flawed, complicated and beautiful characters”.
NOS4A2 followed Victoria “Vic” McQueen, an artist, who discovers that she has the supernatural ability to follow Charlie Manx, a seemingly immortal being who feeds off the souls of children and then deposits what is left of them in Christmasland – a Christmas village of her own imagination. In total, the series consists of two seasons and 20 episodes. The cast includes Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Jahkara Smith, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Virginia Kull and Ashley Romans.
