Without much surprise, the series Blockbuster will not have a second season on Netflix. Launched on November 3, 2022, the comedy by Vanessa Ramos, writer on Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Superstore, did not convince many people.

Starring Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat) and Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Blockbuster has only managed to be in the TOP 10 of Netflix in two countries: Australia and Canada. A signal that was already not good to which we must associate (very) bad reviews. On IMDB, the series barely exceeds 5 out of 10 while on Rotten Tomatoes the series is credited with a score of 22% among professionals and 45% by the public. So it was enough for Netflix to cancel the series after a single season of 10 episodes.

Taking place in the last Blockbuster in the world, the series focuses on the employees of this store who do everything to prevent its closure. In the cast, were also Olga Merediz (In the Heights), Tyler Alvarez (American Vandal), Madeleine Arthur (Devil in Ohio), J.B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Kamaia Fairburn (Holly Hobbie) and Keegan Connor Tracy (The Magicians).
