Hayden Christensen is back in the Star Wars universe. After taking back his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, the actor will again play the role for the live-action series Ahsoka.
The series, which is set like The Mandalorian several years after the events of Return of the Jedi, will focus on Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), a Jedi apprentice trained by Anakin Skywalker. The plot of the series is currently being kept under wraps, and it is not known if Anakin Skywalker’s presence will be through flashbacks only.
Filming is expected to begin in early 2022. Jon Favreau, who already worked on The Mandalorian, will act as producer while Dave Filoni, involved in many Star Wars productions, will act as writer.
