Just a few days after the airing of the Archer Season 14 finale episode, which was supposed to end the series, FXX reserved one last surprise for fans of the show created by Adam Reed. At New York Comic Con 2023, the network revealed that Sterling Archer and all of his spy friends will return for a special event on December 17, 2023.
Titled Archer: Into the Cold, the three-part event will air simultaneously on FX and FXX, and will be available on Hulu the following day. This final episode should reveal what happens to Archer (H. Jon Benjamin), Lana (Aisha Tyler), Cyril (Chris Parnell), Pam (Amber Nash), Cheryl (Judy Greer), Ray (Adam Reed) and Krieger (Lucky Yates) after all private spy agencies were declared illegal in the Season 14 finale.
A conclusion that was not to the liking of longtime fans, who enthusiastically welcomed FX/FXX’s announcement at New York Comic Con 2023.
