A new American series was added to the Netflix catalog on May 18. Entitled XO, Kitty, this new creation from the streaming platform is a spin-off from the films To All the Boys and is penned by Jenny Han, novelist of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy that inspired the feature films.
The 10-episodes XO, Kitty series follows Katherine “Kitty” Song Covey (Anna Cathcart), Lara Jean’s (Lana Condor) younger sister, as she decides to travel to Korea to reunite with her boyfriend and embark on new adventures. The official synopsis reads: “Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.”
In addition to Anna Cathcart, the cast of XO, Kitty includes Choi Min-young (Dae-heon Kim), Anthony Keyvan (Quincy « Q » Shabazian), Gia Kim (Yuri Han), Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), Peter Thurnwald (Alex) and Regan Aliyah (Juliana).
