The iconic Buffy Summers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer will play Kristin Ramsey, a respected expert in her field who investigates arson. Authorities will call on her to catch a teenager who started a massive forest fire that may have also led to the awakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles.
With this new role, Sarah Michelle Gellar signs her return to the small screen in a leading role since the end of The Crazy Ones in 2014. In recent years, she has primarily lent her voice to characters in animated series and developed her brand Foodstirs, specializing in kitchen kits and utensils.
