After confirming the renewals of Tracker, Ghosts and Fire Country in March, CBS has in recent days made official the return of several other series to its 2024-2025 schedule. First, and to no one’s surprise, the American network announced that NCIS will still be with us next season. The series will enter its 22nd season, and the franchise is not about to end, as NCIS: Sydney has also been renewed and a spin-off about Gibbs’ youth has recently been ordered.
Another franchise that will continue its adventure on CBS is the FBI universe. While FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted have only been given one more season each, the original FBI series is guaranteed to return for the next three seasons. Other series that have received the green light from CBS for additional episodes include The Neighborhood, Elsbeth and SWAT.
CSI: Vegas and So Help Me Todd cancelled
With 5 new programs already announced in the CBS schedule for 2024-2025, including the Young Sheldon spin-off, the American network has to make room, and it’s the series CSI: Vegas, So Help Me Todd and NCIS: Hawaiʻi that are paying the price. CSI: Vegas, which was in its third season, will end on May 19, while the second and now final season of So Help Me Todd will end on May 16, 2024, after the final episode of Young Sheldon. NCIS: Hawaiʻi will air for the last time on Monday, May 6, 2024.
