American network AMC used the 2023 edition of New York Comic Con to unveil several trailers and make some announcements about some of its most anticipated series. Let’s take a look.

The Walking Dead : The Ones Who Live – Season 1

The series, which centers on the characters of Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), will air on AMC from February 2024. The cast will include Pollyanna McIntosh back as Jadis, as well as newcomers Lesley-Ann Brandt (Lucifer) as Pearl, Matt Jeffries as Nat and Terry O’Quinn (Lost) as Beale.

At New York Comic Con 2023, AMC released a new teaser and never-before-seen images from The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The official synopsis reads: “Kept apart by distance. By an unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were,” according to AMC. “Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive — or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?”

Interview with the Vampire – Season 2

Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire, which is expected to air on AMC in 2024, was unveiled in a 3-minute video at New York Comic Con. The video shows Delainey Hayles playing Claudia in place of Bailey Bass, who had to leave the series due to “a variety of unforeseen circumstances”.

In this scene, Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) and Santiago (Ben Daniels) get to know each other better while a real-life massacre takes place in the background, in which Claudia takes part.

Orphan Black: Echoes – Season 1

Like the other series mentioned above, Orphan Black: Echoes will be available on AMC in 2024, and the American network took advantage of New York Comic Con 2023 to unveil a few images.

Starring Krysten Ritter and Keeley Hawes, the series is set in the near future and follows a group of women as they delve into each other’s lives and embark on an exciting journey to unravel the mystery of their identities and uncover a heartbreaking story of love and betrayal.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – Season 2

Currently in production in France, Season 2 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will mark the return of Melissa McBride as Carol.

The actress will be a regular for the second season of this Walking Dead spin-off and will play a prominent role in this new salvo of episodes, as Season 2 will be titled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol.

In a statement, Melissa McBride said, “I’ve known there was much more to be told of Carol’s story as I felt her so unsettled when we last saw her, as she watched her best friend, Daryl, ride away.”

Season 2 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is scheduled to air in 2024 on AMC.
