It was a news hoped by all fans of That ’70s Show and it has just been made official: the original cast will return in the sequel ordered by Netflix.

As revealed by Variety, Topher Grace (Eric), Laura Prepon (Donna), Ashton Kutcher (Kelso), Mila Kunis (Jackie) and Wilmer Valderrama (Fez) have all agreed to appear in That ’90s Show. They join Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, the actors who played Red and Kitty in the original series, who were already involved in the project. Only Danny Masterson, the actor who played Hyde, will be missing because he will soon be on trial for sexual assault charges.

That ’90s Show will focus on Leia (Callie Haverda), Eric and Donna’s daughter, as she travels to her grandparents Kitty and Red’s house for the summer. There she will meet five friends: Gwen (Ashley Aufderheide), Jay (Mace Coronel), Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan), Ozzie (Reyn Doi) and Nikki (Samantha Morelos).

The production of the series has already begun as teased by Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith last February. No air date has yet been announced by Netflix.
