It’s official, FOX renews its star programs for the 2021-2022 season. Indeed, the network announced the return of three of its biggest successes: 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star and The Resident.
The Los Angeles firefighters of the 118th are back for a season 5. In this series you can find in the cast: Angela Bassett (Athena Grant), Peter Krause (Bobby Nash), Jennifer Love Hewitt (Maddie Buckley), Oliver Stark (Evan Buckley), Aisha Hinds (Henrietta Wilson), Kenneth Choi (Howard Han) and Ryan Guzman (Eddie Diaz).
The Austin firefighters of the 126th will also be back on FOX for their third season. We should find again in the cast Rob Lowe (Owen Strand), Ronen Rubinstein (TK Strand), Sierra Mcclain (Grace Ryder), Jim Parrack (Judd Ryder), Natacha Karam (Marjan Marwani), Brian Michael Smith (Paul Strickland), Rafael Silva (Carlos Reyes), Julian Works (Mateo Chavez) and Gina Torres (Tommy Vega).
According to Michael Thorn, president of entertainment at Fox Entertainment, a possible crossover will take place in 2022 between 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star, both series created by Brad Falchuk, Tim Minear and Ryan Murphy.
Finally, Chastain’s team returns for a season 5 with Matt Czuchry (Conrad Hawkins) and Emily VanCamp (Nicolette Nevin) in the lead roles. They should be joined again by Manish Dayal (Devon Pravesh), Bruce Greenwood (Randolph Bell), Malcolm-Jamal Warner (AJ Austin) and Jane Leeves (Kit Voss).
