Kate Hudson is set to return to the small screen in the coming weeks. The Oscar-nominated actress will star in Running Point, a comedy created by Mindy Kaling (The Office, The Mindy Project, Never Have I Ever).

In the ten-part series, Kate Hudson plays Isla Gordon, a woman thrust into the role of president of the Los Angeles Waves, one of professional basketball’s most famous franchises, after a scandal forces her brother to resign. Ambitious and often underestimated, Isla must prove to her brothers, the board of directors and the entire sports community that she is the right choice for the job.

Scheduled to debut on Netflix on February 27, 2025, Running Point also stars Brenda Song (Dollface, Station 19), Max Greenfield (New Girl, The Neighborhood), Drew Tarver (The Other Two, Bajillion Dollar Propertie$), Scott MacArthur (Killing It, Very Bad Nanny), Fabrizio Guido (Perry Mason, Mr. Iglesias), Toby Sandeman (The Game, Power Book III: Raising Kanan), Chet Hanks (Your Honor, Empire) and Jay Ellis (Insecure, The Game).
