Fans of Only Murders in the Building didn’t have to wait long for the answer they were hoping for. Just one day after the season 5 finale aired, Disney officially announced the series’ renewal for a sixth season consisting of ten new episodes.
After investigating in New York for five seasons — with a brief detour to Los Angeles — the iconic trio of Charles, Oliver, and Mabel (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, respectively) are preparing to cross the Atlantic. According to Disney’s press release, the three amateur detectives will be settling in London this time, where a new mystery awaits them.
This change of scenery promises to breathe new life into the series while maintaining the humor, camaraderie, and plot twists that have made it so successful. As with every season, we can expect numerous guest stars to join the investigation.
