Fans of Only Murders in the Building can rest assured that the series will not end on a cliffhanger. In fact, Hulu has decided to give the show starring Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin a fourth season so the trio can solve the new murder that occurred in the final moments of Season 3. Warning, spoilers.
Launched in 2021, Only Murders in the Building follows Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), three residents of the same building who investigate different murders for their podcast. After investigating the murders of Tim Kono (Season 1), Bunny Folger (Season 2) and Ben Glenroy (Season 3), the trio will return to uncover the truth behind the death of Sazz (Jane Lynch). Was Charles’ understudy the real target, or is she a collateral casualty? We’ll have to wait several months to find out, as no air date has been announced.
As for Season 4 casting, Only Murders in the Building showrunner John Hoffman told The Hollywood Reporter that he’d love to see the return of Meryl Streep and Jesse Williams, two of the stars who joined the cast last season. Do you hope to see them interact with Charles, Oliver and Mabel?
