People Convention is embarking on a new adventure. After organizing events dedicated to Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Once Upon a Time, Harry Potter, Spartacus, and Stranger Things, the French organizer is now turning its attention to the adaptation of a cult manga: One Piece.
Published since 1997, Eiichirō Oda’s manga was adapted into an anime in 1999, a series that is still airing today. The One Piece universe has also been expanded through several animated films, video games, trading cards, and art books. In 2023, Luffy and his crew also took Netflix by storm with a live-action series.
The first season, consisting of eight episodes, covers the East Blue arc. The second season, meanwhile, focuses on the Grand Line, notably featuring the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island arcs. The third season, which wrapped up filming in June 2026, will cover the Battle of Alabasta. This live-action series, produced by Netflix, will soon be in the spotlight in France at The One Con convention.
Taz Skylar, the first guest at the One Piece convention
After a few days of teasers, People Convention officially announced on Monday, September 21, the launch of its new event, which will take place on November 21 and 22, 2026, and will be dedicated to One Piece.
The organizer also revealed the name of the first guest for The One Con event. It is Taz Skylar, the actor who plays Sanji in the Netflix series, who will be in Paris next November. This announcement is sure to delight all One Piece fans.
Taz Skylar will be present for both days of the event and will participate in panels, photoshoots, autograph sessions, meetings, and selfies. These activities, as well as admission passes, are already available on the official People Convention website.
Taz Skylar is the first guest announced for this new One Piece convention and may be joined by other cast members in the coming weeks.
